The H2-B Program in the U.S. enables employers to hire foreign citizens who do not become immigrants on a temporary basis in the agricultural field in the country. The H2-B Program imposes that the employer proves to the Department of Labor that a salary equal or bigger than the highest of the prevailing salary will be remunerated to the worker.
The Visa Waiver Program is managed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the U.S. together with the State Department. It enables the citizens of 38 countries to travel into the U.S. for maximum 90 days periods of stay without having to be issued a visa.
